ahh you are too nice! but i’m definitely not, hence my awkwardness on the rare occasion that it actually does happen haha.
In my opinion, someone would have to be complimented on a regular basis in order to be able to resign to just saying thank you or accept the compliment. Sorry to break it to you but that is not me, so no i will not say thank you, but yes i will smile awkwardly and make you feel like an idiot.
